See All Code view
Hi there,
When you tap ‘See code’ for an object, it shows you all the code specific to that object.
You can also view the code for all objects at once, by tapping on this button in the top right corner. This makes it easy to copy and paste code from one object into another.
To return to the code for a single object, tap the eye button that will now be in the top right corner.
Duplicate objects
You can also use this view to duplicate objects. This is similar to copying and pasting blocks of code.
To copy an object:
- Long-press and release on the whole container of an object to select it.
- Choose from the Cut | Copy options.
To paste an object:
- Tap in a blank space between objects to move the cursor.
- Tap again to see the option to Paste.
Reorder objects
You can reorder objects as you would with normal blocks. (See our page on reordering blocks for more information.)
Reordering objects in the See All Code view also changes their order in the Objects library:
This is handy if you have a lot of objects, and want to be able to access the main objects more quickly in Whens and variables.
